I have lived and worked on the Isle of Lewis since 2007 and have over 35 years of experience in education, working with both adults and children. Some of the subjects I have taught are Scottish History, Italian and English as a second language. I have 31 years experience as a Scottish Tourist Guide in both English and Italian all over Scotland. I am university trained and as a fully accredited Blue Badge Scottish Tourist Guide, I would count it a privilege to guide you or your visitors through the Outer Hebrides or elsewhere in Scotland.
WHY LEWIS & HARRIS GUIDED TOURS?
As a self-employed tour guide I am able to offer a personalised service that is structured and designed to meet your needs and requirements whether you are an individual, a family, or a small or large group.
I can help in organising or arranging travel, transport, and accommodation.
I can also offer specialised historical tours including visits to neolithic and iron-age sites, film and tv-themed tours centred around movies like Brave or the Katie Morag tv-series, Peter May and Harris Tweed Tours.
Whatever your individual preferences are please just ask...
The islands of Lewis and Harris are the ancestral homeland of many familiies who emigrated to America, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and other far-flung places around the world.
I can offer specialised research and organisation of Clan Tours. Typical island surnames include Macleod, Macdonald, Maciver, Mackenzie, Macaulay, Macarthur, Nicolson, Morrison and Matheson.
